Dedicated to the advancement of cosmetic science, the Society strives to increase and disseminate scientific information through meetings and publications. By promoting research in cosmetic science and industry, and by setting high ethical, professional and educational standards, they improving the qualifications of cosmetic scientists.

Project Brief
A brand ecosystem encompasses the entirety of a brand's world. It includes all the elements that represent the brand and shape its interaction with its audience. For instance, the Society of Cosmetic Chemists, with over 6,000 members across 19 Chapters in greater North America, relies on a cohesive brand ecosystem to connect with the cosmetics and personal care industry. Since 2018, Alfalfa Studio has been instrumental in ensuring every facet of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists' brand maintains consistency, engages its audience effectively, and leaves a lasting positive impression. Our work has included refining their logo, launching a new website, developing advertising campaigns, enhancing their social media presence, and overseeing all branding aspects of their flagship event, the nearly 80-year-old Annual Meeting.

Through our Annual Meeting branding, Alfalfa Studio has crafted a visual language that blends beauty and science seamlessly. Each design juxtaposes geometric and organic elements, marrying tradition with innovation to resonate with the Society of Cosmetic Chemists’ diverse audiences. Since 2019, we've consistently reinforced The Society of Cosmetic Chemists' core values with vibrant and memorable graphic identities. Incorporating Pantone's Color of the Year adds a layer of continuity and enhances each year's branding.

Our ongoing collaboration with The Society of Cosmetic Chemists has broadened its audience reach, ensuring inclusivity and representation through its core values and visual identity.
